CSTS-01 Reference Profile
The archive profile of the Comprehensive Structured Tagging Standard, revision 01. Twelve layers, covering DefinedTerm, Place, Person, Organization, Event, Dataset, and Claim.

- Layer 1
- Identity and address — the stable identifier, the canonical URL, the version, and the machine rendering declared as an alternate.
- Layer 2
- Open Graph.
- Layer 3
- Card metadata, labelled with the record type and the source.
- Layer 4
- The knowledge graph: the archive as ArchiveOrganization, the record, and its provenance as an addressable node.
- Layer 5
- Accession feed autodiscovery.
- Layer 6
- Sitemap autodiscovery.
- Layer 7
- Crawler governance — open, deliberately.
- Layer 8
- Security metadata.
- Layer 9
- Link relations, including the source of record.
- Layer 10
- IndexNow.
- Layer 11
- The citation declaration — source, licence, retrieval date, and transform depth, in three vocabularies. A closed licence is refused here.
- Layer 12
- Knowledge-graph reconciliation.
The two rulings that make it an archive profile
A Place declares its layer. The boundary layer is emitted as a graph property and as a meta tag, so a machine learns whether a boundary was promulgated or is merely attested without reading prose.
A Claim emits as schema.org Claim, never ClaimReview. ClaimReview carries a reviewRating. This archive assigns none. The attestor is the author; the evidence is the appearance; the sibling variants are named so a consumer reading one is told the others exist.
